Australian Construction Achievement Award
The Engineers Australian Construction Achievement Awards takes place
The Australian Construction Achievement Award (ACAA) aims to recognise innovative work in the construction industry.
For the last 7 years we’ve had the pleasure of designing and creating the award which is a sculptural representation of the ACAA’s logo and looks towards being a construction achievement in itself.
When we were initinally asked to work on this project, out of several design concepts, a reversed representation of the logo emerged. We constructed the award using polished stainless steel and the voids were painted to reflect the colours of the logo. The sculpture sits 1 metre high on top of a pedestal.
This year we created a video to show how the award is constructed.
