Born and raised in Melbourne, David is known among friends and family as The Gatto (cat in Italian) as he has a knack for landing on his feet………..along with a possible nine lives reference.
David joining the Thomas Creative team in 2023, after moving down the South Coast, is another example of this.
A qualified carpenter by trade, David has 20 years experience in building and construction working in both Australia and the UK. Much of his career has been spent working on high-end domestic and set construction, estimating, custom fabrication and a number of senior managerial roles.
David is the second Project Manager to join our expanding team.
He is passionate about bespoke design, quality craftsmanship and all things creative.
Through his work he enjoys problem solving, collaborating and leading by example.
His hobbies include classic cars, bikes and boats, extreme sports, fishing and golf.
In his spare time, David and his partner enjoy renovating their circa 1890’s cottage and established gardens. On top of this their dog, chooks, fish ponds, veggie boxes and bee hive keep them busy.
