I’ve always loved an adventure!
My younger days were spent rock climbing and mountaineering throughout Australia, New Zealand and the USA, and between outdoor adventures, I sang in a choir and played guitar in a techno grunge band. The outdoors and the arts have always been my inspirations!
My creative adventure started with training as a signwriter and screen printer under my father, Allan Thomas (who founded this company in 1955), working with a brush in my hand for many years.
Over time, my creative adventure broadened into the development of skills and expertise in the wider world of design, especially focused on the areas of logo, object, and stage set designs. Design work is my passion.
As Creative Director, I also support other designers, bringing their creative ideas to fruition. I’ve been privileged to work in close collaboration with some of the world’s great designers, and in the process, my own creative adventure has been nurtured and enriched.
It’s an enormous honour to work alongside the Thomas Creative team of artisans and management staff, who bring creative visions to life, and who achieve incredible outcomes for our clients on a daily basis.
